Do you focus more on today or tomorrow? Why?
Nutrition wise, I try to focus on making every day better and more accurate than the last. Often, that involves me planning out my meals to some degree a day ahead. In regards to training, I try to have my lifting and cardio sessions planned out at least a week ahead. As a full time student, unless I specifically work times into my schedule for these things, they just simply won't happen. If it doesn't get planned, it won't happen.
If you were going to write a book...What would it be about and what would you call it?
At my college gym, I see so many people that have no idea how to properly train. I'd love to write a short book that would examine the function of each major skeletal muscle and then demonstrate how to effectively train it for maximal muscle size. The title would be: "Bro, do you even Physiology?: a thorough examination of human musculature in regards to training and hypertrophy."
Nursing School! What’s been the biggest challenge and what have you enjoyed most?
The biggest challenge for me has been keeping up with all of the information and reviewing it on a daily basis. It's easy to slack offand not study the material regularly, especially when there aren't many quizzes or assignments due. The most rewarding part of nursing is actually getting involved in patient care and seeing how my actions can directly improve the quality of someone else's life.
Chattanooga is a pretty awesome town. Aside from hanging out at Ruby Falls and Rock City, what do you usually do on the weekends?
In the school year, I'm usually studying in the evenings, usually at my house or often at Starbucks. If I'm not studying, I'm usually hanging out with friends. Sometimes we'll go camping, go out to eat, or simply just kick back, make a bunch of food and watch a bunch of movies all evening.

If you had to eat dessert for the rest of your life, what would be your go-to food choice?
Oh shoot, I don't know if I could pin it down to just a dessert. I think I could definitely survive just fine on breakfast food for the rest of my life! When are oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, french toast, cereal, fruit, eggs and bacon not delicious?!?!?!
